At the nationally valued date of 29 October, Digi Game Startup Studio held the first kuleizmir Game Hackathon, with 70 attendees forming 10 teams to create 10 unique games as a result. The event that spanned 48 hours, Digi Game Startup Studio provided mentorship to the developers as their games progressed in the hackathon. The first place was awarded a total of 5000₺, 2nd place 3000₺ and the 3rd place 2000₺ for their great efforts.
Members of OYGEM Academy also formed a team to join the hackathon. It makes us proud to see that up and coming devs can enter hackathons and ship entire games with the skills they learned. Good bonds were formed between members during the event that will surely last, and we’re looking forward to even more developers joining the new events being held within kuleizmir in the years to come.
